SAŽETAK

Prikazani su štetni utjecaji na ukopane i uronjene čelične plinovode. Zaštita od korozije provodi se pasivnim metodama (premazima i oblogama) odnosno dodatnom aktivnom metodom katodne zaštite. Raspravlja se o prednostima postignutima primjenom katodne zaštite, osobito u pogledu pouzdanosti i ekološke podobnosti. Opisani su i detalji sustava katodne zaštite.

SUMMARY

Damaging effects of environment on buried and immersed steel gas pipelines are presented. Corrosion protection is carried out by passive techniques (i.e. by paint coatings or by linings) and by additional active technique of cathodic protection. In a discussion the advantages achieved by the use of cathodic protection, particularly regarding the reliability and the ecological feasibility. Details on the system of cathodic protection are also described.
